The Wisconsin 'Money Badger's' Bad Night

Bradley Foundation and Its Rising Stars Walker, Priebus and Ryan Fail to Deliver in Wisconsin

Madison -- The day after statewide success for progressives in Wisconsin, One Wisconsin Now Executive Director noted the untold story is the failure of Wisconsin's 'Money Badger,' Bradley Foundation CEO Michael Grebe, and his protégés Governor Scott Walker, Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus and U.S. Representative and failed Vice-Presidential candidate Paul Ryan to deliver the state for Republicans.

Ross commented, "Wisconsin's right-wing 'Money Badger', Michael Grebe of the Bradley Foundation, has doled out hundreds of millions of dollars across the nation and in Wisconsin to try to advance a pro-corporate, anti-accountability agenda and has put his hand-picked team in place in Wisconsin."

One Wisconsin Now recently uncovered the Bradley Foundation, headed by Michael Grebe, played a significant role in funding racist, voter suppression billboards in Milwaukee. In addition, One Wisconsin Now launched a website, BradleyWatch.org, to expose the reach of the Milwaukee based right wing foundation, including its close ties to and support of Gov. Walker, Reince Priebus and U.S. Representative Paul Ryan.

Grebe has served as Walker's gubernatorial campaign co-chair on two occasions, spearheaded the effort to install Priebus as the chair of the Republican National Committee and is credited by Ryan as being his "political godfather".

"Last night proved that, in a fair fight, progressives win and the people of Wisconsin will reject right-wing policies that take their rights and favor the wealthy and corporations over the middle class and working families. There's no doubt the 'Money Badger' and his allies are plotting how to manipulate the process to make sure that a fair fight doesn't happen again," concluded Ross.
