'Gov. Walker's WEDC, Once Again, Underwhelms'

Madison -- One Wisconsin Now Executive Director Scot Ross released the following statements regarding the hiring of a new CEO for Gov. Walker's Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC):

"Gov. Walker's Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), once again, underwhelms.

"Not only have the agency failed miserably in creating new jobs, lost track of millions in taxpayer-funded loans and failed to observe the most basic business accountability procedures. Now they've spent tens of thousands of dollars to conduct a nationwide search for a new chief executive, and ended up hiring someone who was already there."
