$300 Million Budget Shortfall? Dump the New Estate Tax Break First

There’s a solution to the $300 million budget crisis. But it doesn’t start with cutting programs to the disabled, the poor, our seniors and our children.

It starts with ending the $300 million estate tax break for the heirs and heiresses of Wisconsin’s largest fortunes. It’s a new tax loophole which affects only the wealthiest and it started just this month.  

These are tough economic times. Please don’t make it any tougher on those in need.

I support rescinding the estate tax loophole which went into effect this month to ensure the disabled, the poor, our seniors and our children don’t bear the brunt of this budget shortfall.
