Wisconsinites in committed relationships deserve basic legal protections like hospital visitation, family leave, and end of life decision-making. Governor Doyle’s budget proposal included those legal protections for same-sex couples, and the Joint Finance Committee will vote on the inclusion of those legal protections in the budget this week.

Until these legal protections are signed into law, we must keep up the pressure on our leaders to support these basic protections for all committed same-sex couples in Wisconsin.
