A Wisconsin group has recently filed as a 527 with the IRS. According to the Federal Elections Commission, groups that file under section 527 of the tax code are operated primarily for the purpose of influencing the selection, nomination or appointment of any individual to any public office.
This particular group is the Wisconsin Concealed Carry Movement. You know, these are the folks that want to pretend that we are back in the old west. Seeing everybody packing heat seems to be their passion.

One statement that they make on their nearly empty web site is very telling about them and some of the politicians that patronize them.
Please note that there are other candidates and legislators who support our efforts but who, for a variety of very good reasons, do not want to be associated with our political action committee. These candidates and legislators have our silent support and our best wishes.
So not only do they support concealing a six shooter on their way to the Ponderosa, but they also support concealing the identity of the politicians that secretly back their extreme position. Many supporters of concealed carry seem to be the types of people that walk around with some kind of false bravado. Too bad that their political allies are not brave enough to come out of the closet and support them publically.
