Tom Reynolds Threatens Blogger

Many of you may already know that state Senator Tom Reynolds has had his attorney sent a threatening letter to the editor of the Milwaukee Rising blog. I think his threats are pretty much baseless, but it does open a much larger discussion on blogging and do we run any legal riskswhen we exercise our free speech rights? Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
