One Wisconsin Now launched Project '09, an interactive website that will help build the progressive agenda for a better Wisconsin, at the 2008 Wisconsin Democratic Convention in Stevens Point today.
We need an agenda that serves and protects the people of Wisconsin and the progressive ideals we hold dear, and no one is more capable and qualified of crafting that agenda than the people themselves. Progressives must be heard and 'Project '09' is our way to ensure our leaders listen.
Project ’09 will let the Bush administration and its rubber stamps, including Senator John McCain and his ideological allies, know that in Wisconsin we want something done now to reverse their failing policies.
It is not enough to rail about the mayhem of George Bush's failed agenda that’s done nothing to move our country and Wisconsin forward. Progressives have a chance to chart a new course for this state and this nation. Log on to Project ’09 today, and tell us what issues should be front and center in the coming year.
