Milwaukee will mark the fifth anniversary of the war and occupation of Iraq with a march and rally on Saturday, March 15.

Please put it on your calander. The rally starts at 1 p.m. at O'Donnell Park, at the east end of Wisconsin Avenue, near the orange sunburst sculpture.

Speakers will include Rep. Gwen Moore, Fr. Simon Harak of the Marquette Center for Peacemaking, and an Iraq war veteran.

After the brief rally, there will be a march to nearby Veterans Park on the lakefront. The event is sponsored by Milwaukee Coalition for a Just Peace. Get more info by calling 964-5158. Last year about 1,000 people participated.
