Although it may be about 2 years late, I am reading Joe Trippi's book, "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised." His interesting subtitle is "Democracy, The Internet, and the Overthrow of Everything."

In the book he talks about the impact of the Dean Presidential Campaign and its use of the internet. One interesting thought that has registered with me thusfar is that the Dean Campaign was not about the candidate but about the supporters. The use of the internet is what fueled this new political model. The campaign was truly "people powered" which was actually a campaign slogan.

I am hoping that OWN's site and tools will help serve a similar purpose for progressives in Wisconsin.
